Security Department | Primary Repository
All members of the Security Department are required to follow said regulations listed on the pages listed below. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.
Follow the Code of Ethics and Game Rules
All rules within the Code of Ethics must be followed, exceptions may be made by authorized parties. If your guidelines conflict with the Code of Ethics you may still not violate it.
Remain Professional
You are expected to remain mature and professional when you are representing the Security Department, avoid using slang, other immature phrases or actions.
Do not be disrespectful
Disrespect towards other personnel or people outside of the foundation is prohibited and will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis.
Do not forge or plagiarize requirements or documentation
The usage of AI to write an exam/application is prohibited, you may ask it for assistance on questions however it may not write them. Do not forge any requirements that affect your status within the department.
Follow orders
Orders from higher ranks should be followed in general unless it directly violates regulations, you must follow orders from Security Command but if it is in violation of regulations you will not be held accountable.
Use equipment for its intended purpose
All equipment provided to you such as weapons, specials and gear must be used within regulation. Example being, do not combat cuff Class-D, Use riot gear outside of rank restrictions, etc.
Do not hide or provocate anomalies
You are not to move SCP’s from the Loading Zone for the purpose of hiding them, you may only move them for testing purposes. You also may not intentionally cause harm or disruption to a sentient anomaly unless instructed otherwise.
Negligence of Duties
Members are permitted to speak with other foundation personnel as long as it does not interfere with your current duties, you must also follow Section 4, of the guidelines at all times when on-site.
Follow Termination Criteria
Members are to terminate any hostiles or hostile Class-D’s, an official raid/riot ceasefire is exempt from this. Security Personnel may not fire upon Foundation Personnel unless it is in self defense or if they are infected with an anomaly.
Security Department members may also not interfere in Hostage Situations and must page the Tactical Response or the Mobile Task Forces.
Site Access
Members are not to use their status to gain access to areas they are not permitted in by the Code of Ethics or regulations.
Use channels for their intended purposes
Members may not misuse channels such as dispatch or log requests, and must only use it for its intended purpose.
Follow all primary Neuralis Discord server rules.
Any and all rules set by moderators are to also be followed within the Security Department discord server and its sub departments.
Do not leak confidential information
Some information within the departmental servers or documentation may be private to separate parties, if this is the case you must keep information to said parties. Classification is often at the top of documentation or on a channel and or server information.
Verbal Warning
A verbal warning is simply a reminder to follow your regulations, typically issued for those who have committed a minor offense and aren’t repeat offenders.
Written Warning
Written Warnings are documented warnings issued for relatively minor offenses. Receiving multiple written warnings will result in a more severe punishment. Written warnings will be expunged after 6 months.
Physical Corrective Action
Physical Corrective Action involves completing a physical task under the supervision of a command member. Common examples of such corrective action include, but are not limited to, grammar jacks or laps around the site. This action must be completed by a deadline of at least two weeks from issuance; failure to do so will result in exile.
Suspension
Members under suspension are barred from playing or representing the security department in any way or form, Suspensions may last anywhere from 3 to 30 days.
Demotion
A demotion is a reduction of rank by one step for non-command members and to the rank of Guard for command members. In addition, those demoted are temporarily ranklocked at that position for at least one month and up to six months.
Exile
A department exile is a dismissal from the department and a temporary blacklist of one month. Those exiled may rejoin once it is over and restart from a clean state.
Blacklist
A department blacklist is a permanent dismissal from the department without the opportunity to rejoin the department.
