Security Department | Primary Repository
Members of the Security Department are subject to a Chain of Command, this page will explain what each rank of the department has access to and what their duties are.
Security Commander | Cap of 1, Department Central Command
Responsible for overseeing the entire department’s operations, the Security Commander reports directly to the O5 Council and interfaces with subordinate Base SD and detachment command.
Attains Security Class-4 Clearance
Security Lieutenant | Cap of 3, Department High Command
Security Lieutenants run units within the department and are responsible for all staff within that unit. Lieutenants report to the Security Commander.
Attains Security Class-3 Clearance
Primarily in charge of a field of the department such as the base department or a subdivision.
Security Officer | Cap of 8, Department Medium Command
Security Officers handle the administrative tasks of the Base SD unit. Most punishments, tickets, applications, etc., are handled by Officers. Officers report to Base SD High Command.
Attains Security Class-2 Clearance.

Pass a Background Check conducted by the Ethics Committee.
Security Sergeants | Cap of 12, Department Junior Command
As new leaders, Security Sergeants provide instruction to the department staff. They issue orders in the field, host trainings, and complete database requests. Sergeants report to Base SD High Command.
Attains Security Class-2 Clearance
Primarily in charge of hosting events for the Security Department members.

Membership within the department for 1 month
Accumulate 24 hours on-site
Acquire 12 experience points
Co-host 1 event
Security Specialist | Department Senior Staff
Security Specialists are experienced members of the department. When command members aren’t present, they are expected to provide leadership to subordinate members. Specialists can co-host certain trainings and are eligible to apply for the SD Leadership Development School.
Attains Security Class-1 Clearance
Holds higher authority on-site than general staff.
Requirements
Membership within the department for 2 weeks
Acquire 8 experience points
Accumulate 12 hours on-site
Attend 3 general trainings
Pass the Specialist Exam
Security Guard | Department General Staff
Security Guards are full members of the department. Security Guards have access to all of Base SD’s duties and are expected to hold their own on duty.
Attains Security Class-1 Clearance
Requirements
Acquire 6 experience points
Accumulate 6 hours on-site
Attend 2 general trainings
Security Junior | Department General Staff
Security Juniors are new members of the department. Juniors are expected to continue learning about the department, completing its duties, and gaining experience.
Attains Security Class-1 Clearance

Security Cadet | Department Entry Staff
Security Cadets are members in training to join the department fully. Cadets may not perform any SD duties until they have completed an orientation. Once granted access to the team, they are limited in what duties they may perform. They are expected to gain basic information about the department during this phase before gaining access to higher-risk jobs.

The Security Department houses two detachments each with their separate duties, both of which have information set below.
Tactical Response Unit
Security Detachment prioritizing Riot Response, they are equipped and taught how to counter a hostile force it being either Hostile Class-D's or External Groups of Interest raiding the site.
The Tactical Response Unit is responsible for responding to high-stakes threats and advanced combat situations, such as Hostage Situations. They are also responsible for providing leadership during Riots and Raids. Due to their duties, they are equipped with advanced gear. Entry to the unit is through tryouts or handpicks. Cap of 30 operatives.
Military Police
Security Detachment prioritizing enforcing site regulations, either that of the Code of Ethics or certain parts of any departmental regulations. They are taught on how to enforce any and all regulations correctly.
The Military Police is responsible for the enforcement of the Security Department regulations and the Code of Ethics in Site Neuralis. Their duties, beyond enforcement, include guarding the Cleanrooms and escorting tests within it. MP are given equipment to facilitate their duties. Entry to the unit is through applications. Cap of 30 troopers.
As the primary line of defense of Site Neuralis, the Security Department is given access to a wide range of equipment. Listed below are the tools, weapons, and vehicles issued to Security Department personnel.
Whilst no weapons have strict regulations besides ranks, you are still expected to use them fairly and in a professional manner.
MP5A3 - Security Cadet+
An accurate, reliable submachine gun chambered in 9mm with a 30-round magazine.
UMP-45 - Security Junior+
Similar to the MP5A3, chambered in 45. ACP with a 25 round magazine, higher damage output in return for lower fire rate.
G36C - Security Guard+
A carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm with a 30-round magazine.
M590A1 - Security Guard+
A pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with an 8-round tube.
M4A1 - Security Specialist+
A powerful carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm with a 30-round magazine.
G3A3 - Security Sergeant+
A high-powered rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO with a 24-round magazine.
MK18LB - Security Officer+
An accurate, powerful rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm with a 20-round magazine.
Glock 17 - Security Cadet+
A compact semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm with a 17-round magazine.
Glock 18C - Security Sergeant+
A fully-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm with a 19-round magazine.
Desert Eagle - Security Lieutenant
A powerful semi-automatic handgun chambered in .50 Action Express with an 8-round magazine.
Dual Glock 18C's - Security Commander
Two fully-automatic handguns held akimbo, suppressed, and chambered in 9mm with a 33-round magazine each.
Baton - Security Cadet+
A melee weapon that stuns assailants for a few seconds.
Taser - Security Junior+
A handgun-sized tool that stuns assailants within a short range. Must only be used to aid in detainment of another person or for testing purposes only.
Zipties - Security Junior+
A set of FlexiCuffs that can be used to restrain Class-D personnel.
Riot Shield - Security Specialist
A polycarbonate riot shield and baton that can be used as cover, must not be used to run up to an armed assailant whilst being fired upon.
Handcuffs - Security Sergeant+
A set of handcuffs that can be used to restrain Foundation Personnel and Class-Ds.
ATV - Security Cadet+
A 4-wheeler, having a slower speed than a car, is useful for rough environments.
Ford Explorer - Security Junior+
A formidable SUV that can be used to get around, transport Class-D personnel and item anomalies.
Audi G3 - Investor and or Security Lieutenant+
A luxury coup that can be used to get around in style.
Dress Blues - Security Cadet+
Issued in a long and short-sleeve variant, it is the main uniform worn by SD.
SD Belt - Security Cadet+
A duty belt issued to all SD personnel to be worn with the combat uniform.
SD Hat - Security Cadet+
A brimmed cap issued to all SD personnel to be worn with the combat uniform.
Character Headgear - Investors and or Security Sergeant+
Hats and hair worn must be realistic for a guard to wear and be in coordinance with the Code of Ethics. If in doubt, ask a command member.
Alice Rig - Response Use Security Cadet+ | Full Use Security Specialist+
A rig that can be used to hold equipment like magazines and radios. Restricted to riots and raids only
Riot Helmet - Response Use Security Cadet+ | Full Use Security Specialist+
A ballistic helmet with a riot visor. Restricted to riots and raids only.
Formal Uniform - Response Use Sergeant+ | Full Use Lieutenant+
A formal uniform to be used when hosting events only. Issued with accompanying headgear. Other equipment may not be worn with this uniform.
